The myth of tort reform goes back to how insurance companies work and their agenda. Tort reform is a myth and a propaganda campaign created by the big powerful corporate agenda to vilify personal injury and accident lawyers and their clients and portray them as greedy and underhanded milking the system to get undeserved cash at the expense of the general public. The goal of this tort reform agenda is to create a public perception that lawsuits are out of control, insurance premiums and the cost of products and services are rising as a result, and something must be done about it. To reach this goal, these corporate giants enlist the help of politicians to enact laws that favor big industry and place the average citizen at a disadvantage, and they also support judges in hopes of favorable rulings in court. This can negatively impact the value of your case.

An experienced personal injury and accident lawyer realizes that cases should be decided on their own individual merit based on all of the important facts and circumstances, instead of a predetermined capped calculation designed to favor the influential only taking a limited amount of information in consideration.
