The Alabama Department of Education of Workforce Development supports career development programs to begin in earlier school age students to help them prepare for Alabama‘s Workforce.

Approximately, eighty professionals in the Wiregrass Region have been invited to come and share their careers including success stories, educational background, skills required, job satisfaction and information on their company, with the three hundred fifty (350) eighth graders that are enrolled in the Dothan City Schools.
